Cookie policy
Which cookies this website uses and how to manage them. No profiling, no analytics systems.
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This page explains which cookies www.rominaorsetti.it uses and how you can manage them, in accordance with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device of those browsing them. They serve to make the site work, to remember preferences and, in some cases, to track user behaviour. Technical cookies are essential and do not require consent; all the others can be installed only after an informed choice on your part.
2. Our fundamental choice
This website does not profile you. We use neither Google Analytics nor any other analytics system, we do not install advertising pixels, we do not create profiles and we do not sell data. There is no marketing cookie whatsoever.
3. Technical cookies (always active)
- ro_consent — stores your choice made on the banner, so we do not have to ask you again. First-party cookie. Duration: 12 months.
- WordPress session cookies (e.g. wordpress_logged_in, wp-settings) — installed exclusively when logging in to the administration area reserved for the clinic. Those who simply browse the site do not receive them.
As these are technical cookies, the legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing a service requested by the user (Art. 122 Legislative Decree 196/2003): no consent is required for these.
4. Third-party content (active only with your consent)
Two elements of the site come from external providers. Until you give your consent they are not loaded: in their place you see a box explaining what they are and leaving you to decide. In this way, without your consent, no data reaches these parties, not even your IP address.
- Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) — the maps of the two locations. Once activated, Google may install its own cookies and detect your IP address. Notice: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Trustindex — the box that displays the public reviews from the clinic’s Google profile. Once activated, the widget is downloaded from the provider’s servers, which detect your IP address. Notice: trustindex.io/privacy-policy.
The numerical ratings shown on the home page (number of reviews and average score) are instead processed by our own server and involve no connection to third parties: they remain visible even if you decline.
5. How to express, change or withdraw your choice
On your first visit a banner appears with two equally prominent buttons, Accept and Decline. No third-party content is loaded before you choose; closing or ignoring the banner is equivalent to not giving your consent. Scrolling the page does not count as consent.
You can change your mind whenever you like using the “Manage cookies” link, always available at the bottom of every page. If you have declined, you can still load an individual map or the reviews using the button in the box: it is a one-off choice, valid only for that element.
You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Disabling technical cookies may impair the functioning of the site.
