Where my patients come from: the areas I serve

I see patients at my two clinics in Osimo and Villa Musone di Loreto, but they come from a much wider area, spanning the province of Ancona and that of Macerata. Many choose to travel a few extra kilometres because they are looking for a solution to a problem that keeps coming back or that has not been resolved elsewhere: this is where I have built my specialisation.

Two locations, two convenient points of access

The clinics are designed to cover two different catchment areas and to reduce travel:

• Osimo clinic – Via Fonte Magna 25. Convenient for those coming from Osimo, Ancona, Castelfidardo, Camerano, Numana, Sirolo, Offagna and Filottrano.
• Villa Musone di Loreto clinic – Via Giosuè Carducci 3/A. Convenient for those coming from Loreto, Recanati, Porto Recanati, Potenza Picena, Porto Potenza Picena, Montelupone and Macerata.

The province of Ancona

From the Osimo clinic I regularly follow patients from Ancona and the whole area south of the provincial capital: Castelfidardo, Camerano, Numana, Sirolo, Offagna, Filottrano and the towns of the valley. These are areas from which the Osimo clinic can be reached in just a few minutes, ideal for periodic check-ups and for treatment paths that require several sessions, such as nail re-education or diabetic foot monitoring.

The province of Macerata and the coast

From the Villa Musone di Loreto clinic I look after many patients from the border area between the two provinces and from the Macerata coast: Loreto, Recanati, Porto Recanati, Potenza Picena, Porto Potenza Picena, Civitanova Marche, Montelupone and Macerata. It is an area well served by the Villa Musone location, often more convenient than the provincial capital for those living along the main road or on the coast.

Why many choose to travel

Proximity matters, but when a foot problem is stubborn it matters more to find someone who knows how to deal with it. Every day I handle situations that call for specialist expertise:

• the most complex and recurrent nail disorders (chronic ingrown toenail, pincer nail, retronychia, onychogryphosis);
• the prevention and management of the diabetic foot, where acting in good time avoids serious complications;
• custom foot orthotics and toe orthotics, including for children.
